Hardware Requirements

To operate a Metal Blockchain node, your server should meet the following minimum requirements:

• CPU: Equivalent to 8 AWS vCPUs

• RAM: 16 GiB minimum

• Storage: At least 250 GiB of available disk space

• Operating System: Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, or 22.04

• Network: Sustained upload and download speeds of at least 5 Mbps

These requirements can be met by using a properly configured Virtual Private Server (VPS), eliminating the need to purchase or maintain physical hardware.
